Inside Inverve - the People

Inverve was born in Dublin and London, though it would take some years before we would ever realise we had been preparing for it’s birth throughout our professional lives. When we first met it took all of 60 minutes before our first creative collaboration, and by the end of that first day, Inverve had taken its first early steps.

Perspectives

We believe that good photography possesses 'Personality', which is why we always shoot with two people.

Approach

We tackle each job as a separate challenge, with an approach totally catered to the subject matter.

Collaboration

We believe there is always room to grow and evolve, in-fact our entire ethos is based on this fact.

Chatter

We honestly love hearing from people. Contact us on create@inverve.co.uk

I was totally captivated by the arts from an early age.

Adam Heath

I grew up in a rural village shadowed by the urban cityscape of London.

On the one hand through music, and on the other through design and imagery, I always had a passion for story-telling, preferring to imagine rather than be “painted for.” Adventure and mystery completely captivated my young imagination and continues to inspire me!

I’ve worked throughout the design fields of graphic, print and web design (hope you like our site!) as well as my primary love - still and moving image photography.

I believe in ‘imagination’, the best thing you could ever do is encourage someone to exercise their imagination and let it run free. I believe it is here - in the imagination - that all true art begins.

I’ve always been the artistic type, always striving to bring my imagination to life!

Garrett Brady

I trained formally as a Chef in my early days and travelled the four corners of the globe, never parted from my camera. There was and still is something so special about capturing the people and places of our planet!

Dublin was a magical place to learn about photography and I couldn't have started in a more stunningly beautiful place!

I’ve shot almost anything you can imagine, taught (not just photography, but snowboarding and scuba diving!) and cooked since I can remember.

Through it all photography has always been so personal to me, there is something really special about freezing time in a single frame. Though i'm learning video is pretty good too!

Creativity has always been part of me, I just had to find ways to let it break free.

Dave Lowry

I wrote, I drew, I even considered music, but it is in the visual arts I found my home. There isn’t a day which goes by without me reaching for the camera shutter - that old saying still rings true for me: “The best camera is the one that is with you”.

I’ve always enjoyed the ride, no matter where the destination. There’s so much to capture, so much to learn before you arrive where you intended to go, and even then, you find you’ve just begun the next journey, you’ve reached a new start, not an end.

You’re always told a picture is worth a thousand words. So a video must be the best novel you've ever read - right? The moving image opens new doors to storytelling... I wonder what the next chapter could be.

In the outset there were certainly two distinct skill sets, a Motion Guy and a Stills Guy.

We learned really quickly though that our brains are wired to do both!

INVERVE was born as a reflection of our creative mindset, it is neither a spelling mistake nor some abstract term with no meaning - it has, for us, many meanings. Mostly, it is subconscious, but we look at the world in a way that we would classify as being INVERVE.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a team of some of the most creative and talented people we could wish for.

Depending on the specific requirements of each job we utilise a variety of additional contributors including additional photographers, video operators, sound technicians, visual effect artists and more!

In that sense, INVERVE is a state of creative being that is organic, evolutionary and constantly adapting. We can overcome anything, we’ve tried ... we came out okay!

What is absolutely clear to us is there is NOTHING like meeting your potential Photographer/Videographer, so please do pop us a mail or a call) to discuss anything - and we're MORE than happy to arrange to meet you to show you our work in person and chat over your requirements.
